Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) The document used to determine the amount of money a family is expected to contribute to the price of attending of a postsecondary institution. FAFSA results determine eligibility for federal grants, loans, and work study.
FSA ID Consists of a user-created username and password which allows users to electronically access personal information on Federal Student Aid Websites as well as electronically sign a FAFSA. FSA ID replaced the PIN May, 2015.
