Your career starts here! At Helms College we’re dedicated to helping our students build their careers from day one. Through our focus on combining strong experiential learning with classroom and laboratory instruction, Helms students acquire the knowledge, skills and experience to excel in the culinary and health services fields – right from the first day of class. We assist students in gaining employment while they are students through our Goodwill Staffing Services and then as graduates through our Job Connection. Our office of Career Services helps students develop the career tools they need to stand out in today’s competitive job market through a variety of workshops and career events throughout their studies.
The Helms College Academic Achievement Center is an educational resource with a variety of services available to Helms College students as well as members of the communities in Middle Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Our education staff and trained mentoring volunteers work to ensure that educational and career advancement outcomes can be achieved for anyone capable of devoting the time and willing to make the commitment.
