Augusta Graduation Ceremony – January 25, 2025

The Augusta campus ceremony will feature keynote speaker Derek May, President of Azalea Investments and a Goodwill board member. A respected business leader, May’s career spans technology, media, hospitality, and commercial real estate, making him a powerful inspiration for graduates as they step into their next chapter. His leadership in Augusta’s business community and passion for workforce development align with Helms College’s mission of empowering students through education and career advancement.

Graduates from several Helms College Augusta programs, including Culinary Arts and Health Services, will be honored, recognizing their hard work and commitment to building meaningful careers.

Macon Graduation Ceremony – January 28, 2025

Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon, GA Tuesday, January 28, 2025 | 6:00 PM

The Macon campus ceremony will feature keynote speaker Rosetta Boatright, Director of Hospitality for Edgar’s Hospitality Group. With over 30 years of experience in hotel and conference operations, Boatright serves as an inspiring choice for graduates launching their careers in hospitality and beyond. Her leadership at the Anderson Conference Center, an applied learning venue for Helms College, contributed to its first-ever Readers’ Choice Award from Convention South Magazine 2023.

Graduates from several Helms College programs, including the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality, School of Health Services, and School of Industrial Trades, will be recognized for their achievements and dedication to their future professions.

Celebrating Our Graduates

Helms College President James K. Stiff will address both graduating classes, celebrating their accomplishments. “These graduates have worked tirelessly to achieve their goals, demonstrating the resilience, passion, and skills that will drive their success,” said President Stiff. “We are honored to recognize their achievements and look forward to the positive impact they will have on their industries and communities.”

Faculty, staff, family, and friends will gather at both ceremonies to celebrate the graduates’ success and the next steps in their professional journeys.
